IMPORTANT . . . Clothesline Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery to the East Coast capital and major metropolitan areas is within 1 – 5 working days. However, couriers do say to allow up to 10 working days. Often the delivery time is considerably faster than the longest time shown, yet no guarantee can be made.

Delivery to East Coast regional centres, outside of capital and major metropolitan areas and Adelaide, allow at least 15 working days. These time frames are worst case scenario time frames, however need to be accounted for.

Unfortunately we don't deliver to Northern Territory, Tasmania, Western Australia or outside of the Adelaide Metropolitan area or Far North and Regional Queensland.

The Clothesline Store can not guarantee specific delivery times as this would be irresponsible, because we do not own, control or manage any freight companies. However we do use the most reputable couriers in Australia and despatch products in a very rapid manner.

If your clothesline has not arrived by the latest estimated time frame then please contact The Clothesline Store directly. However any product signed for with the courier or transport company, we are sorry but we can not assist you any further.

The free shipping policy The Clothesline Store offers, (if applicable at time of ordering) and is for delivery to most major cities. The transport company’s policies will not always allow for delivery to remote areas. It is best if you call The Clothesline Store before you place your order, if you are not sure if you live in a remote location.

The transport company’s door-to-door delivery is not always available in some regional areas. Please be aware you may have to pick up your clothesline from the transport companies closest depot, or incur additional delivery charge, if the transport company’s policy allows for this service.

All products are generally processed in the same business day and shipped within 24 business hours unless otherwise stated.

Once your clothesline has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number and freight company details, this will make it easier for you to track the delivery progress of your clothesline.

Professional Clothesline Installation Service Information

At The Clothesline Store we can provide a professional installation and removal service for most of our products. Our highly qualified installers are located in all capital cities around the East Coast of Australia and some surrounding towns. If you would like to check to see if you are in our installation area, we have a more detailed list on our installation page or you are more than welcome to make contact with one of our friendly team members on 1300 509 564.

We have listed below some good and bad surfaces for different product type installations. The good surfaces are in Green, the bad surfaces we cannot install on are in Red. If you have a bad surface, please feel free to contact us and we can help work out a solution as there is often a work around for bad install surfaces. While it is possible to install on our listed bad surfaces, it is not recommended and our installers will not do so.

Important Notes Before Selecting Installation

The install fee includes our team digging holes and pouring concrete footing.
If you have a concrete path, drive way or similar where your clothesline is going to be installed, core hole drilling will be required which attracts additional charges. Please contact us to see if this is available in your area and to order this if required.
The clotheslines are designed to be installed on level ground, if you have a sloping area please contact us to discuss your options and if the clothesline can be installed in your area
We cannot add an installation service after a clothesline has been purchased.

Areas Covered:

The areas which have the installation service available can be found on our installation page. If your area is not covered, a local handyman such as Hire-A-Hubby can provide an installation service as they have nationwide coverage. Installation Schedule of Rates:

The schedule of installation and installation and removal rates can be found by visiting installation page

* Removal: Removal includes cutting off any existing clothesline as low as possible. As well as making it smooth and safe. This does not include digging concrete from out of the ground.

If there is no installation option on a product, unfortunately we don't offer an installation service for them.

How The Installation Process Works:

1. Select "Yes, Install My Clothesline" or "Yes Install and Remove Old Clothesline" before you add the clothesline to your cart.

2. Complete your order online or over the phone, payment for your clothesline and installation service is done when you place your order.

3. Our installation team are notified overnight about your upcoming installation and will start scheduling you in for a rough day and time for your installation.

4. You will receive an email within 1 business days clarifying the installation service, as well as who your allocated installer is.

5. When your clothesline is delivered, contact your allocated installer and quote your order number. They will be expecting your call and will happily work with you to book in a suitable day and time for the installation.

6. Our team will attend site on the agreed day and time to install your clothesline and show you how to use it :)

Please note: If you are not at your premises at the arranged time, or the installer is not able to install your clothesline due to an incorrect product or installation type selection, a callout fee of up to $75 may apply.
