Quick Answer
At The Clothesline Store, the Urbanite Living wall mounted drying rack comes in 80cm and 100cm, holds 27kg and folds to 2.5cm flat, making it ideal for apartments, laundries and compact homes.
The Urbanite Living drying rack is a pull-out, wall mounted clothes airer that gives you generous drying space when you need it and folds flat against the wall when you don't. Australian owned and available at The Clothesline Store, it handles everything from wet towels to everyday clothing.
Urbanite Living Drying Rack: Key Specs
The 80cm model has 5 rails and 3.8m of hanging space, and opens to 40cm deep. The 100cm model has 6 rails and 5.7m of hanging space, and opens to 50cm deep. Both hold up to 27kg, fold to just 2.5cm flat, and have a powder-coated metal frame with aluminium rails in black or white. Fasteners and an installation template are included.
Sturdy, Rust-Resistant Build
Urbanite Living drying racks are made from high-grade materials with a durable, rust-resistant finish, so they keep their sleek look even with constant moisture from wet laundry or humid rooms. The robust design holds bed sheets, thick towels and heavier loads without the lines sagging.
The Ultimate Space-Saving Clothes Airer
When not in use, the rack folds completely flat against the wall, so there's no bulky freestanding frame taking up floor space. It pulls out in seconds when you need it, making it ideal for small rooms, narrow hallways, European laundries, units and shared homes. Wet washing stays off the floor, and drying on the rack helps you rely less on a tumble dryer and save on power bills.
Easy Installation and Reliable Performance
Mount the rack on a suitable wall, such as plasterboard, brick or masonry, using the fixings and template supplied. On weatherboard, install structural timber support first. Never mount it on a fence. Once installed, it delivers years of reliable daily use, from delicate shirts to heavy wet jeans.
