Ground Mounted Clotheslines
Most folding frame clotheslines can be ground mounted, this is done using a ground mount kit which is available for most of the top branded Clotheslines including Air Dry, Hills and Austral.
Often referred to as Free Standing, the ground mount kits comes with ground mount posts which are secured into the ground using a concrete slab.
the folding frame works in the same way as if it was located on a wall being able to be folded down so it rests against the legs instead of the wall.
The Australian Made Air Dry and Austral clotheslines have the additional option of base plates allowing the ground mount kits to be secures to a concrete slab.

Very happy with the height & length of the clothesline. Had a little difficulty opening one side of the legs due to the plastic being slightly narrow at the top but used a screwdriver to carefully pry the leg into place & all now appears to be good. My King size sheets dry well & quickly even though I have to fold them in half but the height is perfect for the length. Love the sock holder for drying too. Very easy to put together & very easy to fold up when not in use. Better than everything I looked at as it’s very sturdy. Delivery was also very quick

Super quick delivery. Sadly we’ve only had one dry weekend date to install and it’s been wet ever since. So unable to provide feedback. As an aside I would have liked the line to be black or monarch not a light colour. .
Delivery was prompt. Installation very efficient. Early days with using clothesline because of weather but it looks as though it will suit me well. I think I made a good decision.

Very easy to install. I had to cut the two long arm rods to make them shorter which of course leaves exposed metal, anlbeit enclosed in the joiner rod, prone to rust. It would be good for Hills to have a choice of varying rod sizes or capacity to order to overcoming having to cut the rods. Cutting however was easy.
Very good quality and this is what I need in our laundry room, an indoor folding rack.
