    Hills Everyday 47 Rotary Clothesline

I’m absolutely delighted with my Hills Single Fold Down Clothesline and with the service from The Clothesline Store. The whole process was efficient and straightforward, and the clothesline itself is exactly what I wanted — strong, sturdy, spacious and perfect for sheets, quilts and everyday washing.

I also want to give a special mention to Dallas, who installed it for me on the Gold Coast. He arrived in pouring rain and still dismantled my old clothesline and installed the new one efficiently and professionally.

What impressed me just as much was how kind he was to my 92-year-old mother. He took the time to talk with her, and they discovered they shared German heritage, which led to a lovely conversation. My mum had a stroke some time ago and can sometimes find conversation a little more difficult now, so I really appreciated the patience and warmth Dallas showed her.

Excellent product, excellent installation and genuinely lovely service. I’m very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend The Clothesline Store.

    Austral Retractaway 40 Retracting Clothesline

The Clothesline Store's service was prompt, thorough and efficient. Our new Hills clothesline is much more sturdy, and has more hanging space than our previous clothesline purchased at a big box store only 5 years ago (we had continuous issues with that clothesline, which was poorly designed with parts that kept failing)

Hills Compact Fold Down Clothesline | 2.4m Wide | 19m Drying Space

Took an amount of research to identify a brand that extended the distance an colour we required. This four line extender replaced a Hills line that lasted some 40 years until a fallen branch damaged it.
Really happy with the replacement that fits post to post with original Hills posts.
The Clothes line shop was impeccable with instructions and fast delivery.

How long will my clothesline take to arrive?

At The Clothesline Store, we ship faster and more reliably than anyone else in Australia. Why? Because we hold a huge range of
products in stock at our own national distribution warehouse—no middlemen, no
delays. In-stock items are dispatched either the same or next business day.

Major Cities on the East Coast of Australia: 1-10 business days after shipment*

Outer-lying cities and suburbs including South Australia: 3-10 business days
    after shipment*

*Couriers say to allow up to 10 working days
for all shipments. Deliveries are often considerably faster than the longest time shown, however no guarantee can be made.

Seasonal demand, public holidays. As we use couriers, we can never guarantee a specific delivery time frame. We will however despatch your order in a rapid manner for you.

Can I remove the Folding Rotary Clothes Hoist?

Yes, the folding rotary hoist is designed so the arms can be folded away when not being used.

They also come with a ground socket that is cemented into the ground, allowing the hoist to be easily inserted or removed as needed.

How high should I install my clothesline?

The general rule for installing a clothesline is to position it 50 to 100mm above the head of the person who will be using it most.

Additionally, it’s important to consider any slope in the area where the clothesline is being installed, as this can affect the overall height and accessibility. Adjust the installation height accordingly to ensure the clothesline is practical and easy to use.

What is the difference between a folding rotary clothes hoist and a fixed head clothes hoist?

A folding rotary hoist clothesline can be folded up when not in use and can be easily removed from its ground socket, giving you back valuable back yard space.

In contrast, a fixed-head rotary hoist clothes hoist has fixed arms and cannot be removed from the ground. It cannot be folded up, but it offers a more robust design and construction, making it a popular option if space allows for it.
