I just love that I can easily move this Hills Portable 170 folding clothesline to wherever the sun is shining or to porch or inside when it is raining saves money on power using the dryer, and you can easily fold it up and store it away. I highly recommend this to couples or families.

Doing washing is so much easier. No more teaching up with a sore shoulder to hand sheets. No more hanging washing down the dreary side of my house, I more cobwebs on my line. I can walk outside into my beautiful garden and hang washing. Only thing I would have struggled with is esembling it, but I jumped on the website, watched the YouTube video and it was super easy then. Fits my 4 king towels and queen size sheets in one go! The stainless steel pegs I bought at the same time are amazing.

After buying, using and throwing away many inferior patio clotheslines, the Hills Portable 170 Folding Clothesline feels solid and substantial and appears to be made of long-lasting materials, which is a relief. The only downside is that the folding leg latches are very firm to activate.

This clothes line is fantastic. After years of using a dryer for my sheets and quilt covers, I’m now going to bed with the smell of sunshine on my linen! Delivery was very quick, communication great and the clothes line was easy to assemble. I highly recommend it!

It was quite hard to assemble.
This clothes line is saving me money on Energy bills, and I didn’t need to buy a dryer.
It’s great.
Sturdy, with heaps of space to hang. So far, it's excellent. The only detail I would quibble with is where it says in the instructions "quick and easy to install". It is neither. If you're a handyman, doing this kind of thing every day, then probably it's a breeze. But trying to get my head around it and all the moving parts took quite a while and a fair bit of effort. The video on The Clothesline Store saved my sanity.
A nice and light piece of equipment to move. Not too difficult to assemble especially with the instructional video. Very glad I bought it.
Excellent product. A great solution for people without a normal clothesline and way way better than an airer. Significant line space and perfect height. Very happy with this purchase. And surprisingly reasonable cost. One happy customer.
Good solid unit for hanging washing outside.
This portable clothesline is a real winner. As my lift clothesline is attached to the west side of our house, in the winter it doesn't receive any sun until late afternoon, so the 170 has been great as I can move it into the morning sun.
This is the third Hills 170 portable clothesline.
1 for our house and 2 for our children.

Excellent clothes line, very practical and easy to move around.
I have now purchased 3 folding clotheslines, including 2 for my children, and absolutely love them. Easy to set up, put away and store. Great for rainy days. Very handy and no need to worry if you’re out late and the night air had already set in if ur clothes had been outside. Perfect size if you live in a Unit as well. Would definitely recommend them
